Anthropic has chosen to make a decisive move so that you will not need to leave its environment when managing a project involving several tools. From now on, Claude allows you to interact with essential work tools such as Canva, Clay, Figma, or Slack directly within its interface, without switching windows.
This new functionality transforms Claude into a genuine operational hub. It is no longer just about having Claude “read” your files or draft texts; now, these tools appear visually and interactively within the conversation, enabling you to perform actions in real time.
This feature is already available for users of the web and desktop versions who have Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise plans. Moreover, the company has confirmed that it will very soon arrive in Claude Cowork, its collaboration space for teams.
The initial launch list covers virtually every requirement of a modern digital team. The applications that already feature this interactive interface in Claude include:
Trying this new way of working is simple; you only need to visit the official Claude directory and look for applications marked as “interactive.”
Anthropic has announced that integration with Agentforce 360 by Salesforce will soon be activated, enabling sales teams to analyze and act upon their customers’ context from a single connected interface.
Anthropic has succeeded in integrating so many tools efficiently due to the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This is an open standard that facilitates the connection between applications and AI models. The result of employing this standard as a foundation has been the creation of MCP Apps, which, as Anthropic explains, is “a new extension of MCP that allows any MCP server to offer an interactive interface within any compatible AI product, not just Claude.”
Since it is an open standard, Anthropic does not intend to “close” the ecosystem. On the contrary, with the new MCP Apps extension, any developer can create interactive interfaces that work not only in Claude, but in any AI product that supports the protocol. This is a smart move that aims for AI to stop being an information silo and to become a universal layer of interoperability.
