Yesterday, Adam Mosseri, the CEO of Instagram, announced new features for this social network. There are two types of artificial intelligence available for both users and creators. With one of them, creators can create versions of themselves to respond to their followers, and with the other, any user can create an AI based on their interests to generate content.

These AI-related updates will start being implemented in the United States within the next two weeks, as announced by Meta.
These new artificial intelligences can be created from AI Studio or directly from the Instagram app by starting a new chat. You can use pre-made prompt templates or create them from scratch. Some examples of existing AIs include “Eat you like a chef!” created by Chef Marc Murphy, which gives you local cooking tips when you are traveling, and “What Lens Bro” created by photographer Luis Ángel Barclay, which provides photography advice.
To check out the AI characters of Instagram creators, you need to tap the “Message” button with the ✨ icon on their Instagram profile (accessible via mobile only). Remember, this option is only available in the United States.
