Threads has announced new features aimed at enhancing profile personalization and offering more powerful tools to understand the impact of published content. This move reaffirms Meta’s intention to make Threads a valuable space for content creators and active communities.
Until now, users could only add a single link in their biography. This has just changed, and it is now possible to include up to five customized links in your Threads bio. This improvement will allow creators to direct traffic to their other platforms and projects (podcasts, newsletters, articles, YouTube channels, etc.) easily, without having to resort to third-party tools that act as link aggregators (such as Linktree, Beacons, or Linkin.bio).
The update to Threads also introduces the ability to access metrics and statistics that will reveal how many people have visited the links both from the biography and those shared in Feed posts. It is a straightforward way to evaluate the performance of your links and the traffic you obtain from Threads.
Threads has also revamped its Insights section, integrating a new feature that offers a weekly summary. This option provides “a weekly comparison of the number of posts shared, total views, the number of new followers, and responses to your posts,” explained Meta.
In addition to this, the social network also aims to help its creators make the most out of their content and foster connections with their audience. To achieve this, Threads will start showing personalized tips to each user.
