StreamYard, an online platform for creating and broadcasting live content, surprised its users by notifying them of expanded functions in its subscription plans. These upgrades also involved modifications to plan features, but without affecting their prices.
“From now on, StreamYard will offer three subscription plans: Core, Advanced, and Teams. Each plan has been designed to bring more of our key features to more customers than ever,” the platform explained in an email sent to its subscribers.
With these updates, StreamYard aims to continuously enhance the user experience and provide an optimal, efficient solution. “By introducing these features, our goal is to give you the best software and product experience for streaming and recording. We’re excited to share more updates about our ambitious plans and upcoming features,” the platform said.
New features:
Additionally, StreamYard has expanded the capacities of its Core and Advanced plans, unlocking features that were previously unavailable. For example, Core plan users can now stream in Full HD (1080p) and benefit from up to 2 hours of pre-recorded broadcasts.
For those with the Advanced plan, up to 15 backstage participants, 4 hours of pre-recorded broadcasts, and live webinars with up to 1,000 viewers are now available.
These changes have been applied automatically, and StreamYard has upgraded each customer to their corresponding new plan, granting access to the new features without extra costs. Users who wish to change their subscription plan can easily do so through Account Settings.
