How to link reels on Instagram

This new feature will be especially useful for those who upload multiple reels on the same topic, tell stories in parts, or have content that can complement one another. Furthermore, it is a valuable tool for increasing the time users spend on Instagram by conveniently presenting them with relevant reels as they view related content.

The following are the steps to link reels on Instagram at the time of publication:

  1. Prepare the reel you want to publish
  2. On the final tab before sharing the reel, select the “link a reel” option
  3. Choose from your already published reels the one you want to link
  4. Publish your reel

If you wish to link reels that you have previously published, please follow these steps:

  1. Locate the reel you want to link and open it
  2. Click on the three dots that appear below the share button
  3. Select the “link a reel” option
  4. Choose from your already published reels the one you want to link

In addition, during the process, Instagram will provide you with the option to assign a title to the linked reel. This title will only be displayed on the reel to which you link it, serving as an identifier. The reels you have linked will feature a new button in the lower left corner that will serve as a link to the associated content.
