ChatGPT-6 adds an intelligent UI to render interactive widgets and visual responses

Now available globally, this chat-integrated feature includes images, buttons, graphics, games, and other elements to enrich the response.

Following its initial release for paid accounts, OpenAI has announced the global rollout of GPT-6 for all ChatGPT users. This deployment also comes with a new feature called “intelligent user interface”, which enables the AI to generate more visual, interactive responses that make complex topics easier to understand.

GPT-6 with intelligent user interface began rolling out globally yesterday on ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans, within the Chat tab. Starting today, the rollout will also reach Free and Go plans. Availability for the Enterprise plan, meanwhile, depends on the workspace administrator’s settings.

It is also worth noting that this model runs on GPT-6 Sol for Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise tiers, and on GPT-6 Luna for Free and Go tiers.

More complete, visual, and interactive responses

The new GPT-6 with interactive user interface can analyze the conversation and determine which elements, beyond text, will best serve the purpose of delivering a complete and useful response. In this way, the chatbot can generate responses using text, images, and interactive elements (such as charts, buttons, forms, tables, games, and other interactive experiences).

For example, if you ask ChatGPT how to prepare a recipe for a Sunday gathering with friends, it could generate a response that explains the planning step by step, attaches images of different dishes as menu options, includes an interactive calculator in which ingredient quantities change based on the number of guests, and integrates an interactive task list that you can check off as you complete each item.

GPT-6 with interactive user interface is also useful for learning about complex topics, since by providing visual and interactive explanations it makes step-by-step exploration and understanding easier.

In addition, if you want to go a step further, you can ask the AI to create interactive tools for a specific task or purpose. For example, a calculator to split a dinner bill or a retro-style video game to keep you entertained.

Faster, smoother responses

To enable greater fluidity without compromising response speed, OpenAI has built an architecture based on a “library of native components that can be processed in real time, together with a compiler that processes the interface as the model generates it.” This technology allows the graphical interface to be rendered progressively while the model generates the content, eliminating unnecessary wait times. In this way, the tool combines text, data, and actions in real time, autonomously deciding when a short text is enough and when it is better to display an interactive panel.

The leap in technical performance is also significant, as GPT-6 introduces the ability to start responding to the user while it continues reasoning in the background. Added to this is an improvement in the quality of responses that require web search, along with a stronger ability to decide when to search for information and how to find it.

Reinforced security

In terms of security, OpenAI states that GPT-6 incorporates the latest advances from the Astra framework, strengthening resilience against cyberattacks and multi-turn manipulation while reducing unjustified refusals in response to safe requests.

“GPT-6 is also trained to respond safely in higher-risk scenarios, avoiding unnecessary rejections of harmless requests. This includes using conversation history and relevant context to recognize risks that might not be apparent from a single request,” the company explains.
